MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Despite the Milwaukee Bucks falling to the Atlanta Hawks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals Wednesday night, Bucks fans are hopeful as the series moves forward.
“It sucks,” said Lucas Bork prior to exiting the Deer District watch party after the 116-113 loss. “But we’ve got faith, we’ve got plenty of time to make up this series. We’ve got four more games, we’ve got Bucks in five.”
Others felt at a loss thinking about how the Bucks could possibly slow down Atlanta’s Trae Young.
What a perfect night in Milwaukee.#FearTheDeer

“Young is a beast,” said TJ Nichols. “He’s hard to stop. Everywhere else, I think we can handle them, I think it’s going to be a matter of actually doing it.”
The team will get its next chance come Friday. June 26 at 7:30 EST.
“It was hard to watch that at the end, hoping they had a chance and didn’t,” said Contessa Ganske. “But we’re still here. We’re still out here.”
