MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin’s seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate has remained below 1% for exactly one week, according to the latest data from the state Department of Health Services.
As of Thursday afternoon, the seven-day average percent positive by test continues to sit at 0.7%.
The rolling average of new COVID cases per day has stayed roughly the same at 78 cases, and the state has reached an all-time total of 612,445 confirmed cases. To date, health officials have identified 3,941 cases of COVID variants across the state.
DHS officials said the statewide death toll has amassed 7,273, while the seven-day average of confirmed COVID deaths per day has stayed at one since June 14.
Health officials said 2,901,231 residents have received at least one dose of vaccine, which is 49.8% of the state’s eligible population. As of Wednesday, 2,657,280 people have completed the vaccine series, or 45.6% of Wisconsin.
A total of 5,486,165 doses have been administered throughout the state, including 6,090 in the past day.
