MADISON, Wis. — Police are investigating a shots fired incident which took place in downtown Madison early Friday morning.
Officials were dispatched to the Nitty Gritty on 223 N. Frances St. shortly after midnight. According to an incident report, witnesses told police there was a fight between multiple people outside the bar and grill when several gunshots were fired. The group later separated and left the area before police arrived.
Police said no one was hurt and no property damage was reported.
