MADISON, Wis. — Authorities have identified the man killed over the weekend in a fatal hit-and-run on Madison’s near east side.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as 30-year-old Sean M. Crisco of Madison. Crisco died of injuries he suffered in the crash.
Officials with the Madison Police Department said Crisco was killed early Saturday morning when a vehicle hit him at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Paterson Street. The driver of the vehicle that hit him reportedly drove away from the scene without stopping.
Police said Monday morning they had located the suspect vehicle, but it was unoccupied at the time.
The MPD and Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office are still investigating the crash and Crisco’s death.
