MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a man who was allegedly involved in Saturday’s fatal hit-and-run crash on the city’s near east side.
Officials said Sean Crisco, 30, of Madison was killed after a vehicle hit him at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Paterson Street. The driver reportedly left the scene without stopping to help.
An updated incident report from Tuesday night said traffic specialists within the department arrested Antoine Johnson, 35, as the suspect in the crash. Johnson was taken into custody without incident after he turned himself in.
Police said they recovered Johnson’s vehicle Saturday, though attempts to find the man had been unsuccessful.
