MADISON, Wis. — The suspect of a strong-armed robbery in downtown Madison is still at large Wednesday, according to an incident report.
Police were sent to the 100 block of North Butler Street regarding a robbery that happened at 4:10 p.m.
Officials said a 30-year-old woman had been tying her shoe while waiting at a bus stop when the suspect hit her and stole her backpack and glasses. The report said the suspect ran away from the area shortly after.
The suspect has been described as a Black man who is roughly 45-years-old. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and light blue pants.
Police said the victim did not suffer any injuries.
