MADISON, Wis. — Dane County authorities have identified the bicyclist killed Friday morning in a fatal crash on East Washington Avenue.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 57-year-old David J. Frischkorn of Madison. Officials said Frischkorn was transported to a local hospital after the crash where he was later pronounced dead.
According to an autopsy, Frischkorn died of injuries he suffered in the crash.
The Madison Police Department and Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office are still investigating the crash.
