MADISON, Wis. — Sabrina Madison is moving her Progress Center for Black Women from Fitchburg to the Capitol Square.
The non-profit announced in May it would be leaving the space it has called home since its launch in 2018, but decided to keep the new location under wraps until after the movers finished unloading the boxes last month.
Madison says the new space will make her organization more functional.
“The space will function as coworking space as well as for training and education,” Madison said. “So members will be able to stop in, use their space for coworking, for small group meetings, (and) for one-on-one type things.”
