WONEWOC, Wis. — An Elroy man was killed Monday in a motorcycle accident in Juneau County.
According to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Daniel Jay was killed around 4 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle while driving south on County Highway G near Winters Road.
Jay was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash is unknown. According to the sheriff’s office, skid marks in the roadway indicate Jay attempted to stop for something in the roadway prior to the crash.
Speed was not a factor.
