MADISON, Wis. — The Alliant Energy Center is making changes to this years Dane County Fair after a fight broke out Friday night.
Those under the age of 18 must now be accompanied by an adult to enter the fair on Saturday and Sunday. The fair will also close at 7 p.m.
According to a spokesperson for the Alliant Energy Center, the confrontation Friday night resulted in no injuries and was quickly broken up.
Changes were made by event administrators and the Dane County Sheriff’s Office to ensure safety and fun for all guests.
According to a news release, “The Alliant Energy Center is taking appropriate steps to ensure the safety of the public as events return to the facilities.”
The fun at the Dane County Fair will continue Saturday at 9 a.m.
