MIDDLETON, Wis. — The Middleton Police Department responded to the report of gunshots or fireworks heard near Century Avenue Friday night.
Police arrived on the scene just before 11 p.m. on Friday.
According to police, they checked the area but did not find any evidence of shots fired.
Officers went back to the scene Saturday morning and found several shell casings in the 6900 block of Century Avenue.
No injuries or damage has been reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
