EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — A Silver Alert has been issued for an Eau Claire man who was last seen Wednesday afternoon.
The state Department of Justice said Gerald Golke, 85, left his residence on Meadow Lane in Eau Claire at around 3 p.m. to purchase a cell phone but never returned home. He recently mentioned going to Turtle Lake Casino in St. Croix or Ho-Chuck Casino in Black River Falls. Both casinos have been requested to be on the lookout for him.
Officials said Golke moved to Eau Claire recently and is not familiar with the area.
Golke is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has hazel eyes and thinning gray hair. He was last seen wearing the same blue and white shirt as the attached photo, along with gray pants and black shoes.
Golke drives a blue 2005 Toyota Highlander with the Wisconsin license plate ABV6207.
