Officials with the Bucks say folks in the area should get ready to party as the parade kicks off. It’s expected to be one of the biggest events the city of Milwaukee has hosted. Team officials say the long parade route will give people more space to spread out.
They’re also working closely with the city and police department to make sure everyone stays safe. That means barricades will be set up throughout the route.
The parade is expected to last about an hour and the post-parade celebration at the Deer District will kick off about a half hour after that.
Organizers with the Bucks say they want Thursday’s event to show the world an incredible fan base hungry for a championship and ready to celebrate the moment.
