MADISON, Wis. — Madison police have referred charges to the Dane County District Attorney’s Office against the woman authorities say is responsible for a fatal car vs. bike crash on East Washington Avenue.
Police said in an updated incident report that they’ve finished their investigation into the deadly crash.
The victim, 57-year-old David J. Frischkorn, was hit shortly before 7 a.m. on July 2 at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Pawling Street, near the Johnson Street intersection. Officials said Frischkorn was transported to a local hospital after the crash where he was later pronounced dead.
At the time, the crash was the fourth fatal crash on the East Washington Corridor this year.
