MADISON, Wis. — Nearly 33,000 Alliant Energy customers are without power early Thursday morning as severe storms make their way through south-central Wisconsin.
As of 1:15 a.m., Alliant Energy’s outage map said 32,906 customers were without power in 218 outages. Alliant serves more than 971,000 customers.
In Cross Plains, more than 900 Madison Gas & Electric customers are without power, according to the company’s outage map.
