MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating another residential burglary, marking at least the sixth incident this week where the suspect entered the victim’s home through an unlocked door or open garage.
Officers responded to the 3700 block of W. Karstens Drive on Thursday after a resident reported someone entered their home through an unlocked back door and stole personal items.
Police also responded Thursday morning to a pair of similar burglaries near Elver Park. Earlier this week, police responded to the city’s west side to investigate a string of car thefts.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call the Madison Police Department at 608-255-2345 or Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
