MADISON, Wis. — UW Health and the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center teamed up with former Badger Montee Ball on Saturday to provide COVID-19 vaccines to people in our area.
The clinic was at Penn Park and also featured a free grilled lunch, music, free books and trained medical professional to vaccinate anyone at least 18 years old — and answer their questions.
UW Health said vaccination rates in Dane County remain low for the Black population, with only 27.3% of people having had at least one dose of a vaccine.
