CLEARFIELD TOWNSHIP, Wis. — A man suffered serious injuries due to a motorcycle crash in Juneau County on Sunday night.
According to a news release, dispatchers received a report of a crash on County Highway M in Clearfield Township at around 9:15 p.m. An initial investigation revealed a 30-year-old man possibly struck a deer while riding his motorcycle on the road. There was no one else on the motorcycle during the crash.
The man was later airlifted to a hospital to be treated for his injuries. The motorcyclist’s name has not been released at this time, and an investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office received help from the New Lisbon Police Department, New Lisbon Fire Department, New Lisbon First Responders, Mauston Ambulance, Camp Douglas Rescue Squad, UW Medflight and Northside Mobil.
