MADISON, Wis. — Registration is now open for the next school year in the Madison Metropolitan School District, and it will be done entirely online.
Parents who need to enroll their children can find everything they need online at the district’s web page.
Families with students who were previously in MMSD schools and want to continue can do so with the online form and will only be asked to schedule an appointment with their school if they need to verify a date of birth or a parent-student relationship.
Families looking to enroll with MMSD schools for the first time will also fill out the form online, but will then need to contact their school to verify key documents.
All MMSD families can start the enrollment process here and can find which school their child should be attending by putting their address into the District’s ‘Find Your School’ page.
Even though all MMSD buildings are currently closed during enrollment, virtual meetings and phone calls for new families are still being offered.
The District is currently planning on in-person learning five days per week for the entire school year, but recently announced masks will be required for all students and staff — regardless of vaccination status — indoors and on buses.
