MADISON, Wis. — Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison has announced it will bring back its indoor mask policy starting Monday.
According to a news release Friday, everyone in the building will be required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be available for anyone who doesn’t already have one.
Employees and guests will also be asked to maintain at least six feet of physical distancing when possible.
“Our main concern is to welcome our guests and staff to a safe, recreational environment here,” Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison Executive Manager Daniel Brown said. “We are taking precautions to mitigate the potential for the spread of any strain of the COVID-19 virus.”
The decision was made in accordance with guidelines from public health experts. The casino will continue to take other precautions such as the installation of plexiglass, hand sanitizer throughout the facility and signage on prevention policies.
“Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison will utilize effective public health measures to help protect the safety of our local community,” Brown said.
