BEAVER DAM, Wis. — Two people were killed Saturday afternoon in a crash on U.S. Highway 151 in Beave Dam.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, a car was driving south in an inside lane and hit a car traveling the other way head-on.
A news release said the driver of the car that was hit was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the car heading on south was taken to UW Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officials said that person died on the way to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and the Dodge County Medical Examiner.
Southbound lanes on U.S. Highway 151 were closed for about three hours.
