SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. – Parents are facing a host of new challenges this school year, including the cost of school supplies. An average household is expected to drop $850 on supplies.
News 3 Now This Morning is teaming up with the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County to take action.
The McKenzie Family Boys & Girls Club in Sun Prairie is uniquely suited for their mission of building great futures. With Sun Prairie being one of the fastest growing cities in Wisconsin, they’re using their experience to serving local youth in Dane County to make a positive impact in providing a nurturing environment for hundreds of kids to learn and develop.
Our back-to-school drive enters its second week today, and it’s really easy to donate.
You can drop off your extra school supplies at our News 3 Now studios on Raymond Road or at any of the four Boys and Girls Club locations across the greater Madison area.
We’re making it even easier with an option to donate money online or buy supplies from our Amazon wish-list.
