MADISON, Wis. — Madison police recovered five shell casings while responding to a shots fired call on Madison’s southwest side early Sunday morning.
Police were sent to the 7000 block of Tempe Drive shortly after 12:15 a.m. after getting multiple reports of loud noises in the area.
One caller told police they saw a suspect digging through an unlocked vehicle and trying to get into other cars nearby. Another said they saw a subject leaving the area in a white Chevrolet Equinox.
No injuries or property damage were reported.
