MADISON, Wis. — The 17-year-old charged in the 2019 murder of a Fitchburg teenager has reached a potential plea deal with prosecutors, according to online court records.
Myjee Sanders was arrested and charged last year in connection with the murder of Shay Watson. He’s charged with one count of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of attempted armed robbery.
According to the criminal complaint, the 17-year-old killed Watson after a fight regarding drug debt.
Sanders’s plea hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Aug. 13.
