FORT ATKINSON, Wis. — Fort Atkinson firefighters are responding to a structure fire and asking the public to avoid the area.
Fort Atkinson police said firefighters responded to the 700 block of Oak Street to fight the blaze. A photo from several blocks away shows a billowing cloud of black smoke.
In a Facebook post shared Tuesday afternoon, police said residents who live in the area should consider evacuation.
Authorities had not gotten any reports of injuries as of 12:35 p.m.
