MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating an overnight residential burglary on the west side.
According to an incident report, officials were sent to the 8400 block of Isaac Drive at around noon Monday for a report of the burglary. The victim said their patio door was opened at around 2 a.m. but believed it was due to the wind. The victim closed the door and went back to sleep.
The report said the resident woke up the following morning and noticed their vehicle, backpacks, keys, and wallet had been stolen.
