SPRINGVILLE, Wis. — One man is dead following a rollover crash in Adams County on Wednesday night.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway 82 and County Highway Z in Springville shortly before 10:30 p.m. for a report of a one-vehicle rollover crash involving injuries.
An investigation revealed the 37-year-old driver was heading southbound on CTH Z and crossed into the opposite lane as the vehicle lost control. Officials said the car eventually rolled over and went across STH 82. The vehicle rolled down an embankment, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. Officials said no one else was inside the car during the crash.
A passersby later reported seeing debris, found the crash scene and called authorities.
Officials identified the victim as Michael Buddy Lee Carroll, 37, of Adams. Carroll suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
