MADISON, Wis. — The 17-year-old charged in the 2019 murder of a Verona High School student has plead guilty to felony murder – armed robbery.
Myjee Sanders appeared in court Friday at 10 a.m. with attorney Reed Cornia.
After signing a plea questionnaire and waiving his rights, he entered a guilty plea.
The court accepted the plea and he was found guilty at 10:21 a.m.
His bail was revoked.
Sanders was arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide and one count of attempted armed robbery last year in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Shay Watson. The murder followed a dispute over drug debt.
