ATV Roll Over Saturday Night

An ATV roll-over crash on Saturday night sent a Mount Horeb woman to a local hospital. Authorities with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office say they responded to the Cheese Country Trail near Sargent Road in Wayne Township. According to the sheriff’s report, the ATV’s driver – 27-year-old Steven Steiner of Browntown – lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to leave the trail and roll over. A passenger in the ATV – 20-year-old Alysha Snell – was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries. Multiple agencies – including South Wayne First Response and Fire officials – assisted at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
