MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating an apparent smash-and-grab burglary at a business on the city’s far east side overnight.
Officers responded to the business on the 600 block of Millpond Road at about 3:13 a.m. Tuesday. Police did not specify which business was broken into.
Officers found glass from the front door broken and signs someone had broken in and ransacked the store.
Police searched the building but didn’t find anyone inside.
The department says they are continuing to investigate, and anyone with information should call them at 608-255-2345 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers (608-266-6014) or p3tips.com. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
