YORK TOWNSHIP, Wis. — Green County authorities have identified the man killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Friday.
First responders were sent to the N9300 block of State Highway 78 on Friday after getting a report of a crash. When crews arrived, they found the victim, 25-year-old Tyler Hodgson, dead.
An investigation revealed that Hodgson was traveling south on the highway when his vehicle, a 2004 Ford F350, exited the road and entered the gravel shoulder on the west side of the road. The truck then re-entered the road before entering a ditch on the east side of the road.
The truck then continued down an embankment, causing it to overturn multiple times before crashing into a fence.
Hodgson was the only occupant at the time of the crash.
The Green County Coroner and Green County Sheriff’s Office are still investigating the crash.
Authorities said it’s the fifth fatal crash in Green County this year.
