JANESVILLE, Wis. — State troopers arrested a man Monday morning for allegedly driving drunk with a child in the car.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, troopers responded to a crash on I-39/90 northbound near mile marker 170 in Rock County around 10:30 a.m.
When troopers made contact with the driver, they reportedly observed signs of impairment.
Authorities said 42-year-old Leroy C. Virghes of Madison was subsequently arrested on a tentative charge of fifth-offense OWI with a passenger under the age of 16.
