MADISON, Wis. — A house on Madison’s east side was hit by gunfire Thursday while people were inside, police said.
Officers responded to the 200 block of North Marquette Street shortly before 5:30 a.m. for a report of shots fired, according to an incident report. While at the scene, police found an occupied residence had been hit.
No injuries were reported.
