The Lafayette County Fair Committee voted 4-1 Tuesday night to proceed with the fair as scheduled for July 15th to July 19th in Darlington. Committee members voting in favor were John Reichling and Andy Schilling of Darlington, Larry Ludlum of Belmont, and Donna Flannery of South Wayne. The only no vote was cast by Fair Committee Chairman Eric Stauffacher of Darlington. The Lafayette County Livestock Committee will meet tonight to make recommendations for the livestock shows.
