A woman from Belmont was arrested on drug charges and OWI Wednesday around 10am. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, 48 year old Mary Gentry was arrested on South Penn Street in Belmont for Possession of Cocaine, Operating While Intoxicated, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a probation violation. Gentry was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and remains in custody.
