BEAVER DAM, Wis. — Beaver Dam Police are asking residents to stay alert after multiple reports of thefts at local stores.
Police say a group of 3-4 people has been stealing wallets out of shoppers’ purses.
The group then uses stolen credit cards to buy large amounts of gift cards, which police say is a form of money laundering.
