Dubuque Fatal Shooting

Dubuque Police are continuing to investigate a fatal shooting that took place around 6 Thursday evening. According to reports, a male victim was shot along Loras Boulevard near Bluff Street. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transferred him to Mercy-One Dubuque Medical Center – where he was pronounced dead. The victim reportedly had multiple gunshot wounds – include one at his chest. The man has not yet been identified by police, pending notification of his family. At this time, authorities have not made any arrests in connection to the shooting. However, police said there is no threat to the general public.
