Police say a Dubuque woman set a pile of her girlfriend’s clothing on fire Saturday. 30 year old Ashley Marshall of Dubuque was arrested around 11a.m. Saturday at her residence on a charge of reckless use of fire. Dubuque firefighters responded to the fire around 10am Saturday at Marshall’s residence after a structure fire was reported. Reports say firefighters extinguished a small fire on a wood deck at the residence. The fire caused $700 worth of damage to a pile of clothing. Marshall told authorities that she got into a disturbance with her girlfriend, 34 year old Sara Kamp on Friday. Marshall told authorities that she set Kamp’s clothing on the deck for Kamp to pick up later. Marshall then said she was angry and used gasoline and a lighter to set the pile of clothing on fire.
