Prairie du Chien Man Connected To Child’s Death

Bail has been set at $300-thousand dollars for a Prairie du Chein man -who is connected to the death of a 3-year-old child. Reports show that 29-year-old Chase Harville appeared in Crawford County Circuit Court on Monday. Officials were called to a home along County Highway N in rural Prairie du Chien early Friday. While investigating the child’s death, Harville fled the scene – prompting a multi-hour man-hunt. Authorities with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department found Harville on Friday afternoon in the woods behind a residence along County Highway N. He faces a charge of 1^st-degree reckless homicide. Harville is scheduled to make his initial court appearance next week on July 22^nd.
