Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to a location on Highway 78 in Argyle for an assault just after midnight on Sunday. As a result, 30 year old Zachary Hamel of Dekalb, Illinois was arrested for Battery and Disorderly Conduct. Hamel was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked, posted bond, and released. The Argyle Police Department assisted at the scene.
