LYNDON STATION, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says drivers should expect delays if they are traveling on I-90/94 near Lyndon Station due to a semi fire.
As of noon Friday, the fire could be seen on the DOT’s traffic cameras in the area at County Highway HH. Eastbound lanes were blocked as crews tried to fight the fire.
As of 3:30 p.m., eastbound lanes were still blocked as crews tried to clean up the scene.
Drivers hoping to avoid the area while heading east toward Madison should take Exit 79 for County Highway HH and head south on County Highway HH to get to Highway 12/16. Drivers should then turn left to get onto eastbound Highway 12/16 before getting back on I-90/94 near Wisconsin Dells.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
