BELLEVILLE, Wis. — No one was injured in a house fire in Belleville Friday afternoon.
The Belleville Fire Department said it received a call about a fire at a home in the 500 block of West Church Street near Belleville High School just after 2:40 p.m. Police arrived on scene first and found smoke coming from the home’s roof.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire in roughly 20 minutes. As of 4 p.m., crews were conducting overhaul efforts to check for fire extension.
Everyone inside the home at the time the fire broke out was able to get out safely, fire officials said. No injuries were reported.
