MADISON, Wis. — Madison area high school students took part in a pitch competition with a baseball legend on Friday to share their ideas about businesses and nonprofits that address mental health.
Students were asked to create businesses that focus on mental health. Some also shared products their businesses would offer that spread messages of hope.
They then presented their ideas to a panel of judges, including former Yankees star and current businessman Derek Jeter.
The competition was sponsored by the American Family Institute.
