Lafayette County authorities say a man was injured Thursday when his utility vehicle was rear-ended. David C. Schollmeyer was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened at about 1:15pm Thursday on Prairie Road northwest of Shullsburg. Reports say that Schollmeyer was northbound when his UTV was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 51 year old Tammy Jo Stanton of Cuba City, which caused the UTV to overturn.
