During a news conference Thursday afternoon, police said they were investigating whether a group of five teens who allegedly crashed a stolen car on the Beltline Wednesday night before running to a nearby movie theater were connected to a shots fired incident on Reetz Road earlier in the day on Wednesday. It was not immediately clear if the incident police referred to during the news conference was the one detailed in the release published Friday.
