GREEN BAY, Wis. — When Packers fans see Aaron Rodgers return to the team this season, they will notice something different — and it won’t just be his receiving corps.
Rodgers showed off a new tattoo on his Instagram account Wednesday — the first tattoo the 38-year-old has ever gotten.
Rodgers says each element of the tattoo on the inside of his left forearm has a “deep and meaningful story,” but he did not elaborate in his Instagram post, only saying he’ll share more about it “one day.”
He didn’t have the tattoo when he took the field for the team’s mandatory minicamp last month.
Rodgers decided to return to the Packers in March, after almost a full year of questions about his future with the team — especially after the team drafted quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. However, he signed a new contract extension with the team that made him the highest-paid player in NFL history but also restructured his previous contract to help the Packers’ salary cap situation.

Fans will be able to see Rodgers in person when Packers training camp begins on July 27, with several open practices scheduled for the first week. Packers Family Night is scheduled for Aug. 5 at Lambeau Field.
