MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating after they said two people left the scene of a motorcycle crash Monday morning.
A 911 heard the single-vehicle crash near the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Continental Lane just after 2:15 a.m. The caller reportedly saw two people run from the scene.
Police said that cameras used by the State Traffic Operations Center appeared to show the driver being picked up by another vehicle, while the passenger continued to run from the crash scene.
A K9 team was used to track the suspects but was not successful. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
