BARNEVELD, Wis. — The Iowa County Cancer Coalition raised money for a cure Saturday.
The group hosted its annual fundraiser, the first one since the pandemic began. Monday raised at the event will help support families whose loved ones have cancer.

“We provide them with gas cards, food vouchers, copays – you name it, we help it,” publicity chair Denise Tolzman said. “We want to make sure that we do what we can to make sure that they’re financially successful as they battle cancer.”
The coalition was founded by Badger men’s basketball head coach Greg Gard’s mother Connie after her husband Glen died from brain cancer in 2015.
