MADISON, Wis. — A group of SSM Health staff members returned to Madison this week after completing a medical mission in Guatemala.
The nurses, doctors, surgeons and others partnered with a group called Faith and Practice to bring much-needed medical care to the Central American nation.
“The teamwork, the camaraderie was amazing,” otolaryngologist Matt Pogodzinski said. “We also had a lot of fun as well.”
The group has two more trips planned for next year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
