MADISON, Wis. — The wait is finally over for the Wisconsin women’s hockey team. It’s officially game week.
Wisconsin heads to Penn State for their season opening series and the Badgers are ready to get the year started.
“Each weekend we are just going to get better”, UW forward Casey O’Brien said during Tuesday’s availability. “We’re all super confident and just ready to go.”
This is Wisconsin’s first trip to Penn State and just the second ever series between the two programs.
“I think out of conference is super exciting”, UW defenseman Caroline Harvey added. “We never play Penn State, so more excitement than nerves.”
The puck drops at 6:00 pm on Thursday and Friday. Both games can be streamed on BTN+.
